I’m deeply grateful to Sherwood Forest Elementary School for the opportunity to bring this mural to life. From the beginning, the intention was to create a space that feels like home, a reflection of the rich multicultural community that lives and grows within this school.

This mural celebrates diversity, incorporating words that represent essential values to the school. Kindness in Amharic, ደግነት. Respect in Russian, Уважение. Inclusion in Mandarin, 包容. Multilingual in English. Diversidad in Spanish.

Every element was thoughtfully designed to honor the different cultures, stories, and identities that make up this community.
